How does NomadFare decide a fare is a deal?
Each live quote is scored against a rolling 90-day baseline for that origin–destination. A standard deal is a Z-score ≤ −2.0 or at least 40% below the mean. An error fare is Z ≤ −3.5 or at least 65% below the mean. Median is stored alongside mean and standard deviation so one spike does not warp the grade.
Amazing / Great / Good badges map onto those thresholds plus POS flags and cheap lie-flat. Repeat alerts on the same route are cooled down for 24 hours unless the price drops again.
