What is an error fare?
An error fare (mistake fare) is a published ticket priced far below the route’s recent average — typically 65% under the 90-day mean or a Z-score of −3.5 or lower. Airlines and OTAs sometimes load the wrong currency, cabin, or fuel surcharge. The fare is real until it is pulled; book fast and reconfirm on the airline site.
