Only for a verified POS card, and only as a checklist — not as a magic discount. Connect to the city NomadFare names, open the airline site in a fresh incognito window, search the same dates, and pay in local currency. If the local price is no longer cheaper than the US Book this deal quote, book the US quote.
VPN + airline site is how you attempt the local POS. Aggregator VPNs often still show the US fare. Never use hidden-city / skiplag itineraries; those are out of scope on purpose.
