What is a POS flight hack?
A point-of-sale (POS) hack is the same metal priced cheaper when the aggregator thinks you are buying in another country. NomadFare re-quotes the route in local currency, converts with today’s FX, and flags it when the market quote is at least 8% under the US aggregator. It is a currency probe, not a guaranteed GDS country-of-sale scrape.
The bookable Book this deal price stays the US Aviasales quote. The POS card shows local vs US so you can VPN to that city, open the airline site incognito, and compare.
Pay in local currency (refuse DCC) with a no-foreign-transaction-fee card. POS savings disappear if the airline site geo-detects you.
